白介素-21（interleukin-21，IL-21），属于I类细胞因子，与IL-2、IL-4、IL-15等有较高的同源性，它与IL-7，IL-9共用γ c受体亚单位[1-2]。IL-21由活化的CD4+T细胞分泌，分子结构与IL-15相似，参与调节B细胞增殖，协同IL-15促进骨髓前体细胞增殖和NK细胞增殖、分化和细胞毒活性[3-5]。
